I just thought I'd bring this to the attention of anyone on Warehouse8 who doesn't yet know what the 2008 Game of the Year will be. In the words of the press release, it's "an all-out battle to protect 50 Cent’s assets". I present to you, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

50 Cent and G-unit are putting on a show somewhere in the middle east. The Crowd is pleased, but the promoter refuses to pay 50 and G-unit. 50 is not going to leave without his money, so he hassles and threatens the promoter. The promoter does not give them money, but a very valuable diamond encrusted skull. 50 and G-unit are about to leave the country when they are ambushed and the skull is taken away from them. The game then continues with 50 trying to get what's rightfully his and find out who ambushed him and why.

The 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand video game will feature multi-player drop-in and drop-out co-op, interactive counter-kills, driving, and aerial combat. Following the success of the 2005 Spike TV Video Game Award winner for Best Original Song “We May Be Crazy”, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will be packed with more exclusive unreleased music from 50 Cent and G-Unit.

Best game soundtrack ever. He is the man, just look at him shooting all those bad mofo's out of the way.

Is he still bulletproof?

As is common with all musical artists...

Since when did press releases try to prevent people from buying the game?

Baghdad was voted the place where Spice Girls should play in their tour.

They didn't go though...

Let's face it though, this WILL be a fun game. It ain't a game anyone would buy, but it's defo one of those shoot 'em up games that'd entertain you enough to TRY to complete it.

I think the exact opposite. I think it's a game that loads of people will buy because it's clearly gangsta, and it will probably be absolutely terrible, most likely causing you to cringe at every second of gameplay...

Master Chen @ April 27, 2008, 9:31 pm
It could be about as fun as the last game, and that was awful

Youz are just too anti-50 Cent to look at this with an open mind. It isn't trying to be the best shooter of the generation, it's just an entertaining game where you get to shoot the fuck outta a loada Iraqis, all the while starring as a steroid-pumping Hip-Hop star.

Kinda like a poor-man's Duke Nukem, but in the abscence of Forever, I'm willing to at least give it a try.

It's going to be absolutely reprehensible steaming turgid shit of the lowest order, and that's why it's going to be amazing.

Megadanxzero @ April 28, 2008, 4:31 pm
I think I saw that exact sentence in a dictionary under 'Paradox'
