The big release this week is Metroid prime 3. If you're into that sort of thing, like I most certainly am, the Wii now feels a bit like it actually exists. If you see what I mean. Hopefully it isn't shite then eh?

Does anyone remember that Wii launch game with the horrible graphics and shoddy controls. Sorry, I'll have to be more specific (wham!), I'm talking about Escape from Bug Island or whatever it was called in Japan originally. Well that's out here now! Great!

But there's more, luckily. Virtua Fighter 5 is out on 360, with online play which the PS3 release lacked. It's also supposed ot have better AI and anti-aliasing. I've not heard if it's any good online yet, but you can go with the VF geeks assumption that it isn't for now.

The new Pro Evo is out, apparently the PS3 version has been rushed just to tie in with the going trend. Nintendo versions are being made but not here yet.

Eye of Judgement, that Eyetoy card game thing from E3 06 is here also, and an FPS directed by a horror writer I'm supposed to have heard of, featuring fetish witches and butch marines.
