This rainy week brings us, somewhat appropriately, the PGR4 behemoth. But is it really a behemoth? We've already had Forza 2, Colin McRae, SEGA Rally, Flatout and Excite Truck. I can't really imagine anyone but the dedicated racing punters dishing out release price for this, what with all the other 360 stuff that's come out recently and sold so well, and what's just around the corner. Obviously I'm wrong, everyone's going to buy it, though probably only a handful in my unrepresentative circle. I'd rather not see any comparisons of the sales performance of PGR4 and SEGA Rally. Pearls before swine, pearls before bloody swine.
Other than that, the only things worth mentioning are the eagerly awaited DS games Pippa Funnell 2, Fashion Designer as well as yet another Donkey Kong sidescroller just begging to be buried amongst all the others. There's a PS3 exclusive RPG called Folklore from the developers of, errm, well, Genji. Mixed reviews on that one so far, maybe worth a punt if you're eager and/or desperate.
I leave you with a nice PGR4 screenshot. That is after all, what PGR4 is all about.
