Sony's is 2 and a half hours after the Nintendo one. Not that anyone really cares... Either way, knowing Nintendo they'll probably start late and end up running into the Sony one.

I'll be incredibly shocked if Nintendo announce some games. It's not like them to be making games...

Not really E3 news, but Nintendo'll probably mention it tomorrow: Nintendo announces add-on for Wiimote that makes it work as well as it should have in the first place. And expects you to pay for it...

I'm not sure I like the new dashboard. I'd need to mess with it. When's it coming?

Finally on Xbox Live. Add me: C3Mike.

The lulz:

It happens every year. I doubt anyone will out-tumbleweed Nintendo's Wii Wheel and Wii Fit from last year though.

Someone clearly forgot to tell him that Guitar Hero is the new Championship Manager. And that only twelve year olds actually like Metallica.

Edit:
New display support. Because you asked for it, we are adding 16X10 over VGA or HDMI, and support for 1440x900 or 1680x1050.

Wehay!

I just loved it when he even put his fist up in the air and everyone still stayed silent. And then when the guy came on to talk about Rock Band he actually got some applause.

1680 x 1050? Awesome. Is that coming with the shitty new dashboard, or are we getting it soon?

Well the conferences are all over and the only verdict that matters is in:

Best 2008 1st party Lineup: Microsoft
Worst 2008 1st party Lineup: Nintendo

Laziest smug fucking cunts award: Nintendo
Most clueless fucking idiots award: Microsoft

I've completely forgotten the entire Sony conference already, such was its lack of impact for better or worse.

I'm starting to warm up to the new new dashboard watched a video demo of it. Even has like a simplified version of the current dash board in there if you want it.

What I want is for them to leave it the way it is... I don't see what's wrong with it now. The new one just looks so empty...

Anyway yeah... Nintendo conference was abysmal. Didn't bother watching the Sony one, but I can't imagine them announcing any PS3 exclusives or anything >_>

I dunno how much you know about Japanese culture, i'm an expert

For the first half of the video he's like some crazy nerdy supervillin, sipping from...his glass of milk..lol.
Just sort of turns into a whiny cunt at the end.

Must be fake hopefully.

Yeah, apparently it's some guy who regularly takes the piss out of stuff, so probably not 'real'. Still funny though. The second guy just sounds far too excited.

I think this is probably the worst E3 I can remember... Nothing hugely exciting... A new Halo game has sort of been announced, but they completely fucked it up by not announcing/showing it at the press conference

Nintendo loves us!

selected quotes:

"she wasn’t waiting for me to stop talking just so she could shoot down my questions. Denise was really interested in hearing what I had to say, and wants to know what we all are thinking."

"Denise Kaigler made one simple statement during our time that really hit home. She said it with a sincerity that once again, I am yet to see from anyone else at Nintendo, let alone the industry. She looked right at me and told me that she hears you guys, and that Nintendo really does love you. This wasn’t some BS PR line thrown out to calm the masses. This was a meaningful statement. She knows that the core gamers are upset, but she also knows that Nintendo will always take care of that crowd. We are the ones that sleep outside for midnight launches. We visit online forums to rant about how Link should never be right-handed. For better or worse, we are the ones that discuss the beautiful furry that is Krystal. We have a passion for everything Nintendo, and the bigwigs in Japan know this. Nintendo of America knows this too, even though they may seem a bit fake when talking to us about it. Denise Kaigler’s words were true, honest, and clear. Hearing that statement after 15 minutes of extremely focused conversation really hit home. Nintendo does get it…they get you guys…and they know what we want. We just have to be patient."

"They must have something up their sleeves other than Brawl and Mario Kart Wii!"

I rest my case.
