I think they were a nice idea but ultimately doomed from the offset ;( Maybe I'll think of some other usage for your moolah.

Can the money be renamed to something more fun than Great British Pound Sterling?

Goodness knows what random people who visit the site think it's all about.

How about hearts? Every time you post or do something important there's a chance of you finding a heart piece. Sounded like a kewl idea when I though it up last night <.<

Quicky update:

BBCode boxes have been further spruced up, selecting an area of text and clicking bold/underline etc now surrounds the text with the tags (and it doesn't jump up to the top now!)
Colours can now have html colour names (such as Red or Blue)
Reviews and Archive pages done
Admin page is well on the way

Have a looky if you're an admin/writer

Admin stuff:
You can continue editing the psot you're just made/been editing on the same page
You can save a post as new from the same page too and it'll automatically change to be updating that one, so if you're posting a few similar stories it's very very easy and saves copying/pasting stuff.
There are now templates (or a template rather) which should help keep reviews looking familiar between different people.

Looks nice. What happened to that thing W8 used to have where if a picture exceeded the page width, it appeared in a frame?

Glad to see you're doing that stuff to the admin page, it will make posting a hell of a lot easier. Fewer tabs etc.

Could I just request/remind about the spaces in the tags field thing. At the moment if you separate them with a comma and a space you get a space in the URL for the tag. Probably just needs a little reminder next to the field rather than filtering them out or whatever.

Yeah.

I've just put one in here. Try the Xbox 360 tag. It's the tiniest little thing I know but I'm very anal you see.

And here the callous fiend Megadan has also committed the unthinkable.

Oh right. Well it's fixed in the new version anyway

http://warehouse8.cliftondesign.eu/index.php?task=news&newsyyy=227

Except for Dan's unthinkable....but that's his fault ;D

Update then:
User cards made. Click someones name.
Links automatically linkify and shorten
Images automatically resize and provide original link
Tags now lead to tag "pages" - Read the new admin page for details on the new tagging "conventions" to facilitate this change
Tons more stuff I can't remember as usual.

Unfortunately I'm off on holiday for a week tomorrow I wanted to have more done but I couldn't get it done fast enough.

edit: I'm officially a retard and didnt notice the space was BEFORE the tag. It was because of the %20 so I missed it.

This is going to be a bastard to fix because it's a probably with the way they're stored in the database.

Ok it's fixed on this end now but the old tags with spaces will not show up if you go to the tag page for them.

Temporary hack means they now will. Sorted.

I don't know if it's because reviews aren't yet sorted on the new version but when looking at the database of them, you can't click on any of the titles. Also, for all three times I've ever visited this site, the redesign is ace

Don't add a Shenmue banner.

Just let it die lads.

Let it die.
