Just finished Galaxy for the first time. Got 13 more stars to get for the 120. It's a game so good I don't see where Mario+Platforming can go from here.

Anyway, now that the dust has truly settled on 2007 (and I've managed to actually play the games) what's your favourite of last year? There's at least a dozen that could legitimately have a shot at the crown.

I cannot pick between Call of Duty 4, Mario Galaxy and the Orange Box. They've all got me excited about the possibilities of gaming in a way I haven't felt for a good few years. Apologies for pussying out, but it's a dead heat for me.

I'd go with exactly your choices (can't pick either), maybe with a little Metroid Prime 3 thrown in. There were lots of other games which didn't quite have the complete package for me, but gave me really unique gaming experiences, like Bioshock. Great year.
