Yeah, I've felt really bad about that for ages... Now that Uni's finished I should have some time to actually play/review some stuff. Not too good at news though. I always end up finding out about shit months after it was announced <.<

If two more people contributed as much as you *snap* you have a decently active website. We even had people offering a while ago but their accounts where never set up.

It's probably all my fault for being lazy with the site....I've just been working on my programming stuff. Problem is my mind cant be arsed because there's not many people here, and most of those will already know the stuff we post. But then without new posts we get no people. Vicious circle. But without Uni stuff to do I might be arsed to do more stuff.

Yeah, definitely not criticising you Graemey grams, but its gotta be pretty difficult to keep motivated when the site's creater is so busy on other things, I know it's a small part of why I haven't been getting busy. But i've just been having some problems with college, really. Though it'll all have passed in a month.

Lack of Uni will probably be the fuel we need. The worst thing is I had a few really good ideas for some little features, but I forgot all about them because of the wave of assignments. Curse my awful memory...

It would be good if more than one person could fiddle with the site really. I can't do any PHP mumbojumbo but if I'm sure I could be shown how to do stuff like change the header images, adjust the featured boxes, update the ads from ZeldaPH.

Gamer7 died because the only person who could do anything on it besides post articles and moderate went to Uni where it was blocked and then by the time he was out of halls he'd lost interest, couldn't be arsed to hand over control and eventually stopped paying the domain and server bills.

Obviously the situation here is very different, but it's a slippery slope and we're not even as established as G7 was.

Yeah it's been blocked at Uni for me too.

If I get banned from C3 in the next couple of days (which seems likely, I might just make a topic to go out on soon because it's just pissing me off and giving me a load of stress) I'll have more time too.

Maybe Warehouse8 should be more than just a games website..?

EDIT: What the hell's happened to everyone anyway?

We're having trouble motivating ourselves to post anything. How would trying to do everything be an improvement?

Mmmm, I hear ya doggs.

I'm actually very free to do stuff at the moment but havent really been very motivated due to some personal problems. I'll see what I can come up with.

EDIT: I think we also need to get the site submitted to places like newsnow. I've ran a few gaming sites in my time and it's very difficult to get big by organic growth (search engine traffic and the like). Affiliates really bring in nothing - news and articles is where it's at.

If more people read the content then I'm sure we'll get more members sticking around which would motivate everyone.

The content we have really is quite unique (credit to Raff) - we just need more people reading it.

Go Graeme go!

This is because I haven't been made a writer. Shame on you, Graeme.

Seriously though, I have loads of reviews I want to do and a rudimentary laptop to do them on. Make me a writer damnit!

I was thinking about writing an article on Jack Thompson, something that chronicles his idiocy over the years.

Usually whenever he finds a blog or site speaking ill of him he signs up just to call them pooheads or something. So, who knows? Might get us at least one more member.

And fate is setting up the chessboard while death rolls out the dice. Anyone for tennis, wouldn't that be nice?

Holy shit, that's genius!

Also, Graeme, stop going to C3! You KNOW they're all retarded, why do you keep going back?

I don't know why I keep going back XD. I hate it so much now. That Banjo topic is the epitome of retardation. Next time a big Wii game is demonstrated I'm going to bash it just because it's apparently ok to bash games no-ones knows much about yet. C3 used to be so good too =/

It's just not Banjo, it seems like there's barely any fucking platforming in it, and for a platformer that's pretty damn odd. The industrial environments we've seen so far are horrible. I completely agree with people saying it looks like it'd be better off as some new franchise.

According to the interviews the environments and general level content is only beginning to be properly fleshed out. The small amount of platforming we have seen looks absolutely vintage.

Megadanx - if we were on C3 I'd be shoving stars down your neck

Don't do that, you'll look just as retarded as them. It will just perpetuate the cycle of retardedness.

Lalz. I'm in the progress of a massive rewrite of the site at the moment.
